Big Strick Classic 2013 (New York, NY): Larrier has great length and runs the floor with long, fluid strides. He is a big-time talent whose best basketball is clearly ahead of him. He can effortlessly finish on the break, and because of his 6-7 frame, he can shoot over smaller defenders. Pure jump shot, with range to the 3-point line. Needs to tighten handle to create in isolation. He needs to rebound with more conviction, and add muscle. If he does those two things, he’ll be a major wing prospect.
Nike Peach Jam 2013 (North Augusta, SC): Larrier excels purely off his physical tools right now—explosive in the open floor, and a 6-9 wingspan. Great size for a small forward (6-7), allowing him to shoot over most 2-guards, and some 3’s. He needs to add weight though; he’ll simply be no match at the college level.
His most underrated skill is passing, where he can set up anywhere on offense—foul line, wing, top of the key—and scan the court effectively. A unique prospect who is still molding his game. Huge upside as a long swingman who can shoot and defend.
